Welcome to our first Market Update for 2020! We hope everyone has enjoyed a happy holiday season with family and friends!  We finally are getting some big snowfalls,  it looks so beautiful especially at night with all the lights in the trees. It is a winter wonderland again. One of the most popular experiences that people are talking about this winter is Vallea-Lumina!   It’s the best value in Whistler, take a walk in the Enchanted Forest sparkling in its glory and listen for the secrets in the trees.  Don’t miss out on this great family event.

The real estate market saw about an 18% drop in activity in Whistler and Pemberton overall this year, the second half of the year was busier than the first.  Overall the average sales values in Whistler ended the year at almost the same as the end of 2018.  Single-family is largely unchanged, condos are up about 10% and townhouses are down approx. 11%. This is a general analysis and not specific to the individualities of each property/complex. Pemberton values overall were up 5%, with single-family showing the biggest gain to 10% and townhouses up by approx 2%.  If you are looking for a new home under a million, Pemberton has several new ones to choose from.
