If you find yourself here on Sunday nights, you should definitely take in the famous Fire and Ice Show at the base of Whistler Mountain in the Village.  Whistler’s top skiers and riders put on an amazing show spinning and twisting through the Burning Fire Hoops.  This is a free show that will thrill you! This weekend Whistler is hosting the BMW IBSF Bobsleigh and Skeleton World Championships  March 1 – 3rd & 7 – 9th. The world’s top bobsleigh and skeleton athletes will be blasting down a 16 corner icy chute that twists and turns down Blackcomb Mountain.  There are 250 athletes representing over 35 countries battling it out for the title of King and Queen in the most prestigious bobsleigh and skeleton event in a non-Olympic year.  Lots of action-packed events for the whole family.
