Get out your golf clubs, Whistler Golf Course driving range is open for business on the weekends now. The bike trails are in fine condition and the skiing is still really good up there. I skied on Blackcomb on Sunday and it was just gorgeous. It was beautiful warm temperatures and yet it was cold enough to make snow and keep the snow firm and lovely for skiing. It is well worth the trip up here, bring all your toys.
The market remains the same for the last few weeks. We rental properties are doing well with their occupancy remaining high making it fairly difficult to show properties that are in the rental programs. You will notice in the 12 sales this week several of them have sold over list price because they have been in multiple offers. If you are focusing on buying a property and you see one that you like, chances are there are other people looking at it too, so don’t dilly dally making up your mind whether to put an offer on it or not. There are quite a few shared ownership properties selling now that the prices are so affordable.
It is Spring Break time in Whistler, the kids are out of school for the next few weeks, so there are lots of kids here with their families enjoying the Magic of Whistler.
