Happy New Year!
Winter has officially arrived! Following several days and nights of heavy snowfall, the mountains stand beautifully adorned, and the Village glistens with a magical sparkle. Smiles are abundant all around. While we anticipate a couple of days with a deep freeze, the temperatures will soon return to their regular pattern. A friendly reminder to our second home owners: kindly ensure that your heating is set to at least 15 degrees Celsius. If you require assistance or a check-up, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Your 2024 property assessments have been sent and hopefully received. If you have any questions or would like a current market evaluations we are here to help. We now have our Whistler Real Estate year end statistics for you for Whistler and Pemberton. “Looking to 2024, we expect to see increased sales volumes in both the Whistler and Pemberton markets. As inflation approaches the target range and the past two years of quantitative tightening measures work their way through the Canadian economy in the form of mortgage renewals, it has been predicted that the Bank of Canada will begin dropping interest rates in 2024. This would increase the buying power of consumers and fuel the housing market, with the Canadian Real Estate Association Predicting a 9% increase in home sales and a 1.5% increase in home prices this year. We expect increased competition in the Whistler and Pemberton markets, which both have limited supply and strong demand.”
If this is your year to buy or sell, it is time to start the conversation so we can help get you ready!
Here are the numbers for the past 7 days:
Wishing you all a world of happiness, good health, and endless reasons to smile in 2024.
