Here we are enjoying sunshine at the end of a very crazy weather Spring day! Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and cloudy, no snow or rain, I will go up the mountain and try it out. Honestly though, we are enjoying the longer days with a bit of sunshine thrown in, Whistler and Pemberton are amazing, fresh air and mountain living!  Plan on coming up for a little holiday with your family, check out the Whistler Insider for ideas on what you can do while you are here.  There is more than just skiing and boarding, there is something for everyone.

You are probably seeing all kinds of market reports saying the market is slowing down and the interest rates are going up. It’s true, we are saying the same about Whistler. Today was our realtor’s tour of all the new listings this week, the buzz and feedback was the same from one realtor to another. We have been saying for the past few weeks, if you are thinking of selling, there is no better time than now. The height of the frenzy has been here and is now starting to fade. Our inventory is still very low with Whistler at 134 listings and Pemberton with 20 but we are seeing and hearing of more new listings each day. The seller’s are still going to get great prices for their properties but the buyers are going to have more to choose from with new inventory. When is the best time to sell? It’s now! There are lots of buyers still looking but there may not be the multiple offers that there were a few weeks ago. Let us know if you would like a market evaluation in today’s market. Community Update:

World Ski and Snowboard Festival!

We were so happy to hear that this event is coming back this year, although much smaller than it was in the past. Over the weekend from April 15 – 18 there will be a few fun events on Whistler and Blackcomb and some après events in The Village.
