We are loving one of the best stretches of hot summer days, August has so been amazing! It was a wonderful week ending with the Slow Food Cycle that took place on Sunday Pemberton. The real estate market has been active this past week, both Whistler and Pemberton are showing the same number of sales as there are new listings. The single family home market is heating up as we are heading into the last two weeks of summer. Community Update:

Info campaign launched for Pemberton Housing Project

Sea to Sky Community Services looks to provide Pemberton residents with more info on the Harrow Road project through its public information campaign launching this month. Of the project’s 63 housing units, 32 will be allocated to families while 31 will be used for seniors and persons with disabilities. Meanwhile, 30 per cent of the units will be market rentals, 50 per cent will have “rent geared to income” and the final 20 per cent will be allocated for those with low incomes.
