It has been a great couple of weeks for Whistler and the mountains with more snow and warmer temperatures in the forecast! There are lots of smiling faces as you walk thru the Village. The Whistler Film Festival had another successful year and raging reviews. If you are interested in catching some of the films you can still buy tickets and view online until January 2/2023.

Wintersphere – Christmas and New Years in Whistler

December 17 – 31, 9:30 am – 5:30 pm

We can’t believe we are already talking about Christmas here in Whistler! But it’s December now, and events are starting to fill the calendars! Tourism Whistler has always put on an absolutely magical experience over the holidays, and we are thrilled that it is back this year after a couple of years missing. Outdoor skating is open, the sledding area is being set up, and soon enough the conference centre will be joining in. Here is some more information from Tourism Whistler:

“The ultimate winter wonderland experience awaits you this holiday season. Wintersphere celebrates this magical time of year with festive activities for the entire family! Join in the fun with visits from Santa, entertainers, a holiday café, kids crafts, signature holiday maze and much more. Please note that Wintersphere is closed on December 25 and open December 31 from noon to 8 PM.”
