It’s a little too cold up here in the mountains but at least the snow on the mountains is dry and powdery.  The conditions are great just bundle up, take a few runs and duck into the Lodge for a hot chocolate to warm up.  The crowds are gone and there are no lineups, it’s beautiful up there.  I went out for my first XC ski around Lost Lake on Saturday and I have to say it was amazing, the grooming was perfect it was very enjoyable. Tracey has been checking out the Pemberton trails which are also spectacular. We have noticed that snowshoeing has become quite popular with many people taking a walk in the forest.

Our market is historically quiet at this time of the year as everyone recovers from the holiday season.  This is often the time for sellers to adjust their prices to meet the market conditions if they want a sale in the next couple of months. So if you are a buyer, keep your eyes on this weekly market update as you may see the property that you have been looking at come down in price.  In this market update, there are actually only 20 new listings as 6 of the 26 are relists this week.  If you are thinking of selling, talk to us about a market evaluation for you.  Putting your property on the market can take a couple of weeks so now is a good time to start the discussion. We should see more activity at the end of January.  You should have your Tax Assessment in the mail by now, call us if you have any questions or comments about it.
