Whistler enjoyed a very successful May long weekend with the opening of the bike park, the golf courses are in full swing and even people out on the lakes enjoying the spectacular weather pattern we are in. It was the last day of the winter season for Blackcomb and that meant a large number of skiers and riders bringing out their best attire for the glorious sunshine. There was plenty of entertainment through the Village all weekend long.  Whistler Bites is a new fun site to check out for food specials that are happening each day. 
 
The Whistler market has seen 286 sales for 2018 year to date versus 371 in 2017, we are down approx 29%.  Average prices have increased between 29% to 39% depending on the segment of the market you are looking at. Pemberton is showing a very balanced market this past week based on the statistics below. Comparing year to date sales we are also showing the same with 60 sales for 2018 and 62 sales for 2017. The average price year to date has increased between 5% for chalets with acreage to as high as 29.83% for vacant land. It is important to remember that we are dealing with a low number of sales for creating averages. Currently, Pemberton has 61 listings in total with 28 of the listings being vacant land. There are many new developments happening over the coming years in Pemberton!
