Everyone’s talking about the weather.  We have missed a month of spring, we are hoping that June brings us sunshine and flowers, although we had hail in the resort yesterday, so who knows what is next…  After 2 years of closure due to Covid, the Cloudbreaker Skybridge and the Ravens Eye is opening June 18th  on Whistler Mountain.  Check out the schedule for lifts and sightseeing on the mountains for your family adventures. The famous Whistler Mountain Bike Park is open everyday, have a look at the unlimited activities you can take advantage of rain or shine.  There are many mama bears and their cubs in the valley now, watch out for them on the trails as they are playful and curious.

The real estate market has slowed down as we have mentioned in the last few weeks.  May and the first few weeks of June have always been a quieter time for us in Whistler and Pemberton.  We expect that once the kids are out of school the buyers will be here looking at all that this Resort and Valley have to offer.  This is also a time when we see more listing come on the market, as people are finished with the ski season and are making decisions to make a move.  As there are more listings to choose from, we don’t tend to see as many multiple offers, which makes it easier for buyers.  If you see a sale that sells at a higher price than the list price, you know there was likely more than 1 offer. It is still happening, just not as regularly.  This is a great time to put your home on the market to take full advantage of being on the leading edge before summer hits.   If you are trying to decide what to do, give us a call or an email, we can have a chat.

Community Update:

WORCA Toonie Rides and Phat Wednesdays are Back!

Every week during the summer for 15 weeks, WORCA hosts Thursday night Toonie Rides with different local businesses and organizations sponsoring each ride. The Toonies Rides are a great place to mix and mingle with our vibrant mountain biking community. Ride hard for the challenge or ride with friends for the fun of it. When the ride is over, we all meet up at après to share tall tales with friends old and new. However you ride, it’s guaranteed to be a good time.

Phat Wednesdays are every week in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park, and they are so much fun! Kids and adults race a different course each week, and there are tons of prizes afterwards at the GLC!

If you aren’t a member of WORCA yet and doing these rides, we recommend it! They give so much back to our bike trail network from the funds raised at the rides!
