We had our first snowfall to the Valley overnight and the snow is sticking! Whistler Blackcomb opening day is set for November 24th, just over 3 weeks away. Everyone is getting their gear organized and looking forward to a great season. Year after year Whistler is voted one of the top resort destinations in the World! As the colder weather moves in just a reminder to make sure if your homes are vacant that your thermostats are set to at least 10 to avoid any issues with your pipes. The market continues to be consistent with 15 new listings and 13 sales in Whistler. Note the Alta Lake Road sale at $8,100,000 sold back in August after 13 days on the market. There have also been 8 price adjustments for Whistler in the past 7 days. Pemberton saw 1 new listing, 2 sales and 4 price reductions. If you have any questions on specific segments of the market, please reach out. The Whistler hotels are reporting that rentals are up for the season and the last report we heard was the resort bookings were at approx. 68%, great news for those with nightly rental properties.
