Greetings from Whistler,
Trick or Treat? Whistler’s Tapley Farm in Whistler Cay is the place to be for Trick or Treating tomorrow night. The neighborhood becomes a safe, pedestrian-only zone for all the little ones. Houses are decorated with scary ghosts and goblins, flashing lights and sound effects. Top off the evening with fireworks at the Myrtle Philips School. Some of the newer neighborhoods now also do their own events including Cheakamus Crossing and Rainbow. Wherever you go in Whistler, Pemberton or beyond we are sure you are up for some spooky fun!
Well, what can we say about the Whistler market today? It has slowed down, it feels a little “eerie”, like the night before Halloween! This week there are 15 price reductions, an indication of a shifting in the market. Seller’s this is a great time to sell, there are lots of buyers looking for property to buy and our inventory is still very low. Price your property right and it will sell, it just may take a little longer than in the Spring. Our advice is to talk to us about your real estate needs, we have 25 years of experience in the Whistler and Pemberton markets. Whether it’s lifestyle or investment, we know Whistler inside and out. Call us today!
Pemberton is also still slow for new listings and we have just 1 reported sale this past 7 days. Note 2 of the new listings have been on the market previously this year and just took a little break so not a lot of new inventory to share with you. If you are thinking of selling it is a great time as there are still many buyers ready and waiting for the right property for them! We are always here to help and answer any questions you have.
Have a great week!
Your Mother/Daughter Team
