Greetings from Whistler and Pemberton,

Soggy weather has driven most of us indoors lately. This could mean we are all back at the gym getting ready for the ski season, or that we are back in the kitchen baking and cooking. It means both to us, working from home has given us the inspiration to be in the kitchen more and we can go to the gym whatever time suits us. Hopefully, the snow is piling up at Pig Alley as the locals are antsy to get on the slopes again soon. Halloween is fast approaching and it has been common in the past to have snow on the ground for trick or treaters in search of candy at Tapley’s Farm in Whistler or The Glen in Pemberton. There are now a few neighborhoods in each community putting on a great scene for all the kids! As you can see from this week’s numbers, our market has not changed at all. Whistler and Pemberton are still chanting the same story; low inventory and high demand. There are hints that the interest rates may be going up and that will make it tougher for people to buy in these markets. Make sure you are in touch with your mortgage broker, or reach out if you need a connection, so you are pre-qualified for financing before you start shopping. This will make things a lot easier when you want to write an offer. If you are thinking of selling, let us know. Community Update:

Tapley’s Farm is gearing up to welcome the whole community back to Easy Street this Halloween.

The free, family-friendly event has been a Whistler tradition since 1983, but was scaled back last year to accommodate neighbourhood kids only amid the COVID- 19 pandemic. Now, it’s back to business as usual for Tapley’s Farm Halloween’s 38th iteration.
