Greetings from Whistler and Pemberton,

The weeks are flying by with the days getting longer, we feel like we are crawling out of our cocoons!  Restrictions in BC are starting to be lifted and it is nice to see people’s smiles again.  It is a wonderful feeling not having a mask on all the time but Covid is still here. I just heard 2 of my friends having it, after 2 years of precautions, they got it and don’t know where from.  We are not out of the woods, but things are getting better.  Other good news is we have some much needed fresh snow on the mountains this week!

The market is still a runaway with competing offers although we are seeing a bit of change happening due to a few more listings brought to the market,  potentially giving the buyers a little more time and choice in some segments.  In demand right now are 3 bedroom units, so, if you are thinking of selling, let us know, we have buyers waiting.  We are up to 129 listings in Whistler and 16 in Pemberton this week.  Fingers crossed our inventory builds in March for those of you who are on the search for your new home in the mountains.

We are looking for more listings in Whistler and Pemberton, this may be the best time for you to sell – before the usual influx happens at the end of March and you will have more competition. Call or email and we can discuss how listing now in this market may look for you.
