This Weeks Update For The Whistler & Pemberton Market September 14. 2016

Greetings from Whistler,

We are having a wonderful week of sunshine and blue skies, cold at night but it warms up to over 20 degrees in the afternoon.  Fall is one of our favorite times of the year in Whistler and the leaves are now officially starting to turn – so beautiful.  Come up and enjoy a bike ride, we have over 40 Km Valley Trails that are paved and easy riding all around the lakes and golf courses.  Stop for a drink along the way and enjoy the beauty.  The golf courses are open and the Mountain Bike Park is still going strong.  Another great idea for you is take in the Artwalk  http://artswhistler.com/event-calendar/week  There are so many great artists displaying their work in various venues throughout Whistler. Don’t forget about the Audain Museum, all reports back are it is spectacular! The Whistler Beer Festival will also be on all weekend if you are looking for some other kinds of entertainment there is lots to be found.

The real estate market is still keeping both Tracey and I hopping and searching for a great property for our clients. There are only 8 recorded sales this last week with 20 new listings yet there are lots of offers being written. The inventory is very low. Here is an interesting snapshot of the market today, we currently have less than half of the listings we had on Sept 11/2014. This is a good reason to have us working for you as we need to act quickly if you see anything you are interested in. We can get you prepared to make a move if it is the right property for you.
