It is hard to imagine what is happening in our markets these days. The Vancouver market conditions are spilling over into Squamish and Whistler now. This is due to some sellers selling out of Vancouver and buying in Squamish and Whistler. There are many other people taking equity out of their homes to buy a Whistler home or condo. The low inventory here have is driving the prices up due to multiple offers in competition. In most cases, buyers need to write their offers subject free to be in the running when in competition. Our best advice is for buyers to be ready with your financing , ask us for the strata information for the complexes that you are interested and be on an auto email from us .
