Greetings from Whistler and Pemberton,

September has been so beautiful with this long lasting warm weather, we are making the most of it, drenching ourselves in the sunshine until late afternoon. Golf courses are open for a few more weeks, so get your tee times booked and enjoy these dog days of summer. There are plenty of ideas for you and your family to enjoy the outdoors, have a look at Outdoor Adventures on the Insider Blog, this is the perfect time of the year to do one our many hikes in the Alpine.

The market is moving along in a more relaxed pace still, but there are some amazing sales including one for over $17M this past week. Typically this time of the year there is a little more demand for buyers wanting to secure their “ski cabin” before the opening day in late November. I think we will see an uptick in sales in the next couple of months, so stay tuned to our market updates. If you are thinking of selling, let us know if you would like a market evaluation on your property and help with your decision, “is this the right time to sell?”  We have been helping buyers and sellers in Whistler and Pemberton for 30 years make the right choices, we would love to help you too!

Whistler Museum Naming Night
September 22, 2022

The Whistler Museum is hosting a “Naming Night” on Thursday, September 22. They have more than 22,000 promotional and candid images taken by more than 30 photographers between 1980 and 1998, and they need help identifying some of the people in the photos. Here’s a bit of information on the event:

“If you haven’t been to a Naming Night before, the format is pretty simple. At 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22, we’ll be posting about 100 images around the museum that we need more information about, including the series of Blackcomb staff. Everyone is welcome to come help us fill in the blanks, whether you recognize a face, a place, or an event, by writing the information on a Post-it and sticking it to the image.”

This will be a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and view what will probably be some entertaining photos!
