Whistler Mountains are opening this Thursday with lots of new snow and a great forecast ahead. People are booking their Gondola’s, ready to escape this crazy COVID19 Madness. Sadly the news seems to get worse every day and the spread is going beyond what we expected it would be here in our little piece of paradise. We actually are now experiencing the 2nd wave in these last few days, it’s never been as hard as it is now, we don’t know how long it could be. Being away from our friends and family is taking a toll on the mental stress levels of many people. We are all doing this together in our own bubbles, stay well, and help each other through these difficult times.
In spite of the COVID19 pandemic, the real estate market is still on a high! Tracey and I have been selling real estate in Whistler and Pemberton for over 25 years and we have never seen it like it is today. It is a seller’s market in Pemberton and Whistler, as long as you have your property priced right, it should be selling within 60 days. Our Inventory is shrinking due to the high volume of sales. There are only 245 listings in Whistler, down from over 300 a few weeks ago and 38 listings in Pemberton including all the new lots.
