Greetings from Whistler and Pemberton,
Whistler and Blackcomb mountains have opened!! I had the pleasure of my first day on the mountain, by myself, I loaded on the Gondola and the chairs alone. It would have been hard to talk to anybody even if I had a buddy. The mask, the balaclava, goggles, helmet, and gloves provided a very private and COVID friendly day of skiing. Sunday was a beautiful sunny morning and I took advantage of an early upload at 8:30 am. The snow was amazing, along with the grooming that was pretty nice too, made for a fabulous 1stday on Whistler! Tracey s heading up Blackcomb tomorrow am which I am sure will not disappoint. We are very happy that the mountains are open and the Callaghan Valley is open for XCountry skiing. If you are looking for some adventure you should check out The Adventure Group and book yours now! The market is showing some signs of change. You will see from the stats this week, 35 sales compared with 18 listings in Whistler and in Pemberton has very limited inventory and has more sales than listings. The buyers are definitely still shopping and on the listing side, we are seeing a slight decline. It’s that time of the year, by the middle of Dec. things will get very tight. Pemberton is showing signs of slowing down due to the time of the year, once we get into Dec. families start to focus on the holiday season, even if it is COVID times. Recreation properties are in demand as you have seen on the news. if you are thinking of selling or buying, you will need the experience of a Real Estate Team like ours to guide you to the hot listings and the buyers with pent-up demand or setting the right price for selling in today’s market.
